This is the first content in the new segment, and I’ll divide this book into 2 parts. Let me show you the book cover in case you want to read the full version.
The first part will cover :
- Genius
- Intelligence Types by Dr Gardner
- Methods to Build IQ
- The differences between Poor and Rich Dad’s perspectives and ways of thinking
So, let’s get started!
Genius
This book emphasizes that education is one way to get wealthy, but it is not a necessity for becoming wealthy. While financial prosperity is one method of becoming wealthy,
“Every person has a genius side,” it is clearly stated. We cannot limit a child’s curiosity by pressuring him to learn in the manner that the majority of people do. To put it another way, we must figure out the ideal technique to study.
The IQ score is a measurement that reflects the correlation between our mental and physiological age (and, of course, this is not patentable and can change quickly). It is also said that IQ is not just linked to academics but also to other aspects of life. Academically gifted people are not necessarily gifted in other fields, like “sports.”
As an outcome, everyone has a different and unique learning style. There are various approaches to identifying your learning style. One of them is to recognize your intelligence type.
8 Intelligence Types + 1

1. Verbal Linguistic Intelligence = Word Intelligence
Relates to reading, writing, and language (travellers usually carry a “book” with them, learning by writing and reading). Not only that but also communicating with friends or adults who’ve had similar experiences allows you to learn better and efficiently.
2. Numerical intelligence
Makes it easier to solve mathematical problems (no need for scribbling on a paper)
3. Spatial Intelligence
Doodles and discovering stuff that can be the subject of your picture can enable you to discover patterns, designs, and spaces that can let you visualize events or objects in the actual world.
4. Musical Intelligence
Do you tend to tap a pencil or finger to the beat or rhythm? It’s fair to assume that you’re musically talented. Learning by doing
5. Physical Intelligence
Do you enjoy taking sports lessons? Or is your room filled with sports equipment? It means that you’re aware of your body and uses your body well (such as athletes, ballerinas, dancers, etc.)
It’s also Learning by doing
6. Interpersonal Intelligence = Extrovert (Intelligent About People) Sociable
7) Intrapersonal Intelligence = Introvert (smart about oneself) = Emotional Intelligence
How you cope with stress or handle an uncomfortable situation has something to do with emotion management (fear and anger).
Is it possible for you to remain calm in stressful situations or difficult situations? Before talking or taking action, do you often pause and consider your words and actions? Having to face your imperfections is a concern for you? You’re concerned about your self-worth or what others may think of you?
Those questions often pop up in your head if you have intrapersonal intelligence.
8. Natural Intelligence
You feel welcome in a community that cares about the environment or enjoys spending time outdoors. The writer added 1 more to the list.
But in this book, the writer added 1 more
9. Vision
It will determine whether you are a leader or a follower in your life. Some leaders can predict and forecast situations and take effective action to deal with them. Like verbal-linguistic intelligence, you enjoy interacting with friends or adults to share the experience and discuss.
Methods to Build IQ

Imagining that you already have what you desire is one of the greatest methods to achieve it! What you believe is what you get.
Look on the bright side of everything; have a confident attitude towards money, even though it is true that “lack of money is the root of almost all evil things.”
Rich Dad vs Poor Dad
| Poor Dad | Rich Dad |
| Study hard to be able to work in a good company | Study diligently to find good company and become the owner. |
| The reason for not being rich is because you have children | The reason to be rich is that you have children |
| Don’t take risks with money. | Learn to manage risk |
| Work to get paid | Financially independent |
| Save | Investment |
| Write a CV to get a good job | Write Financial and Business plans to make a good company. |
Another concept that the author emphasizes about the Rich Dad is that working is used to learn and practice rather than just to earn money.
See you in the next part!
