What is your definition of being patient?

I’m sure many of you will say, it’s related to our ability to “wait” for something. I’m not saying that it’s completely wrong, but it’s way beyond that. Sometimes “waiting” will help us to move further and grow better. How’s so?

Without waiting, sometimes we decide things abruptly, which leads us to experience regret.
Here are some simple practices to cultivate and improve our patience?

  1. Find activities to enjoy our time and being busy. So, we can maximize our time to do productive things.
It’s better to find the things that you like rather than spending time doing something negative or overthinking.
  2. Stop rushing things
Rushing things leads to anxiety and the simple thing that we can do is to pace our time effectively. Be more open but not frugal, and be more flexible but not messy.

Here are 2 downsides if we are lacking of patience!

  1. Acute stress, feeling uneasy all the time, and out of focus
  2. There are things that can’t be rushed.
Our pace is not always the same with others, and if we rush the other (people or situation) before they are ready, it might lead you to experience unwanted results.

That’s it for today. Hope you can have at least ” a moderate amount of patience.” See you in the next episode.
