Have you ever wondered why our world is accepting extroverts more than introverts? And, as an introvert myself, sometimes, maybe more often than ‘sometimes’ I often think and believe, it’s just not fair.

What would it be if everything were the opposite? The extroverts living in an introvert’s world?
Just like an article that I read at the same time, I’m writing this article, “I love the feeling of a no-fuss life.”
I know that many of us struggle to keep up with this noisy buzzing world, so as an introvert buddy, I just want to say that “I’m with you.”
Being adaptive isn’t what I want to highlight in this article, I just want to share the information that I read in introvert-dear to remind myself and hopefully, it can benefit you as well.
Don’t try to satisfy and be a people pleaser – because we can’t and it’s hard to please people.
Having one friend who can relate to you and be happy with your accomplishments is one of the definitions that can make you keep being strong in this complicated world.
No need to have many friends that aren’t too close. Trust me, having too many friends and trying to SKSD “sok kenal sok dekat” is tiring. SKSD is when someone is acting like they know you so well, but in fact, they don’t.
Being an introvert doesn’t mean that you’re a weirdo – Just be yourself
No matter what you are, introvert or not, you have the right to be yourself. You just need to take care of yourself, especially your mental and mind, because it’s easy to get swallowed by how people are talking.
When we can accept our flaws, our failures, and our paths, we will be moving forward to what we call personal growth. So, don’t lose yourself in the past, and don’t lose hope.
Whatever people call you, it’s their business, and you can also call them whatever you want to 🤣
As time goes by, I’m sure that you will be less bothered by those “nicknames.”
Longing for freedom? Then, chase and obtain it.
Our current journey might not be as smooth as we wanted, so in order to obtain freedom, what we can do with our lives is to be independent.
Don’t compare your experiences, achievements, or processes with others, because we are different individuals.
Obtaining that ‘freedom’ will let us shut our ears, and not let anyone bother us when we don’t want to be bothered.
Want to pursue dreams? Go ahead!
What do you enjoy doing?
Whatever your answers are, don’t let anyone stop you.*
*I do not want to encourage you to chase the ‘bad’ things. So, you should know what are the goals that are good to pursue.
“Don’t let your 9 to 5 job stop you from getting closer to the life you want.“
Get along with yourself
Don’t keep chasing for other’s recognition. Be the one who can stand up for yourself and someone who can proudly say “I’m proud of being myself.”
Eating at the restaurant and sitting in the cinema alone ISN’T a big deal. I’ve tried it, it might look lonely in the eyes of others, but who cares? Practicing self-care shouldn’t be a luxury or a gift, it’s what we should do. Don’t be embarrassed with yourself. Who can accept you better than yourself?
I have my STOP signs – Quit when you feel that you’re underestimated and underappreciated.
If you don’t want then don’t. Be firm and vocal.
I like this sentence so much ⏭️ “Life is too short to let people push me to do things I don’t want.” So, don’t be afraid to speak up, but don’t be rude😄 You’re not grass to get stepping in.
