Doing something boldly without much thinking is sometimes labeled as something negative. But in reality, it is not actually bad. We tend to pull back and pull the brake when overly worried over people’s perspectives and judgment. Because many of us only wanted to follow the crowd, we feared being different. I know, you know, and even all of us know that “failure” is not a good thing for us, and it might be the worst thing we can ever experience in our short life.
When our business, career, and relationship end, many of us believe that there might be something wrong in the process or something within us. Please don’t take it too far and too personally. This way of thinking could actually backlash to us, and you might find that failure is your doom in life.
Well, no one can do everything perfectly on the 1st try. Mistakes are not something we should avoid, but they should encourage and motivate us to stand tall and challenge them differently. We need practice, and we need to do trial and error. If you read and see many successful people’s stories, you will know their success doesn’t happen overnight. They made hundreds, even thousands of mistakes. If they can, why couldn’t we? It’s normal to feel scared to move on, but it’s the thing that we should do in this world, and it’s the price we need to carry and take responsibility for. When we think we can’t find a way to reach what we want, it just means we have yet to discover the right way or method to do it.
Mistakes are our tool to keep making improvements. And, of course, we can’t run over the same mistake. You know that it’s stupid.
Give yourself some slacks, and encourage yourself positively when you make mistakes. Again, it’s not the end of the world, and DON’T even think about ending your world either.
Mistakes are accidental and unintentional. We don’t want to make mistakes, and we can’t rely on our hopes so that everything happens according to our plans. That’s not how this world works. So, don’t be scared to fail. It’s a crucial aspect and part of our development and growing journey.
